When the Nordnet team came up with the brilliant idea of exploding cute little piggy banks, we were all over it. We immediately started sketching and testing how best to create this effect visually. After several iterations, we developed our design and choice of execution.

Making the production entirely 3D was the right way to go because it meant we could control the entire visual process more easily, with everything from camera angles to different materials and surfaces. Simulating explosions in 3D is time-consuming – but a lot of fun!
The campaign resulted in a large number of film versions and still images that were used widely on digital channels and out-of-home screens all over Scandinavia.
